Tall Oaks Staff

Barbara Sypher

First Grade Teacher

BA and MA in psychology from the California State University

Barbara Sypher is the lead teacher of grammar school at Tall Oaks Classical School and has been teaching first grade at Tall Oaks since 2006. Barbara and her husband, Jonathan, have four children, Jack (21) a senior at University of Delaware, Amy (19), a sophomore at University of Delaware, Megan (18), a freshman at West Virginia University and a 2017 graduate of Tall Oaks Classical School, and Thomas, Class of 2019 at Tall Oaks. Barbara is active in her church and participates in children and youth ministries. In her free time, Barbara enjoys long distance running and has completed two marathons. She hopes to complete her third in June of 2018. She also enjoys hiking, reading, and playing with her very spoiled dog Daks.
