Laurie Davison
Upper School Spanish Teacher/Sr. Trip CoordinatorAlthough Laureen started out by pursuing a two-month summer missions trip to Austria or Germany, the Lord had other plans by closing that door and opening a door in Mexico City, Mexico. That door lead to spending a fall semester at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM), which ultimately led to further studies at UNAM which opened doors to teaching Spanish at a Christian school in Philadelphia. She left teaching to marry Bruce in March 1989. They have been involved with Christian camping in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland where they homeschooled their two sons - Raymond and Brian. Soon after moving into this region, both sons were enrolled at Tall Oaks and Laureen began teaching Spanish at Tall Oaks. Over the years, Laureen has consistently been involved with music and has dabbled with ladies and children ministries. Besides family (and a first grandchild), Laureen also enjoys reading about language teaching theory, knitting, and crocheting. Laureen's goals are to someday travel to Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Alaska - the last four on her tour of the fifty states!
